Terms of Service

1) Payment rules

• Free starter credits never expire while the account remains active. Deleting an account forfeits all remaining credits. Recreating an account with the same email starts with zero credits and does not receive another free-credit grant. Paid passes are Weekend Sprint (3 days), Application Week (7 days) and Job Search Pro (30 days); every paid pass may use every available model. Prices are in INR and payments use Razorpay.
• Passes last exactly 3, 7 or 30 days from activation. The checkout total is the final amount charged, including any credits you add at purchase.
• One-time purchases expire without another charge. Automatic renewal is available for 7-day and 30-day passes, for up to 52 or 12 payments respectively. Three-day passes are one-time purchases. Each successful renewal starts a new paid period and grants its included credits.
• Cancel recurring billing from Billing before the next charge. Paid access remains until the end of the paid period. Failed renewals do not grant another period. No automatic plan upgrades or price changes apply to an existing mandate.
• Included credits expire with their paid period and do not roll over. Completed AI tasks use credits according to the model selected and work involved, including search, research, speech playback and voice transcription. Voice conversion is charged separately from generating questions or reviewing answers. Failed calls, reused results, manual edits, previews and downloads do not consume credits. Generous hourly fair-use limits apply; if you reach a limit, wait for it to reset before continuing.
• Top-ups are sold in increments of 10 credits at the fixed price per credit shown at checkout, with no processing deduction, either together with a pass or at any time while a paid pass is active. They expire 12 calendar months after payment; the expiry date is shown before you pay and in Billing. An active paid pass is required to spend them. Unexpired top-ups remain on your account between paid passes; they do not extend access.
• Purchases are final, subject to applicable law. Service faults may be remedied with extra days or extra credit on the same plan. Where money must go back, a refund request from Billing, one per payment, is reviewed and paid through Razorpay to the original method.

2) Who we are

Prepico is a product of DataShastri. These Terms govern your use of the Prepico web application - the workspace for your Base Resume, cover letters, job search and interview prep - and related services.

3) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

4) Eligibility and accounts

• Prepico currently serves adults in India. You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account. We do not offer accounts for minors, including with guardian consent. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and arrange deletion.
• Individual accounts only; no organization accounts yet.
• You must provide accurate information and safeguard your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Verify your email before using the workspace, AI tools or billing. Account recovery, verification, sign-out and privacy requests remain available while verification is pending.

5) Acceptable use

Do not scrape, reverse engineer, bypass security, abuse rate limits, automate at scale without permission, distribute malware, post unlawful or harassing content, commit fraud, benchmark to compete, or resell access.

6) Your content and generated output

• You own the content you upload or type: your resume, letters, job descriptions, notes. You grant DataShastri a license to host, process and display it in order to operate the service.
• Suggestions the assistant produces may be retained to operate and improve the service.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

7) AI outputs

The assistant rephrases what you provide and leaves a slot where only you know the fact. Its outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate. They are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice.

You review and approve suggestions before they become part of your documents, and you are responsible for the accuracy of anything you send to an employer.

8) Plans and payments

• Prepico offers a free plan and three paid passes: Weekend Sprint (3 days), Application Week (7 days) and Job Search Pro (30 days). Paid passes include the credits shown at checkout, may use every available model, and let you choose the model for each feature.
• Completed AI tasks use credits according to the model selected and work involved, including search, research, speech playback and voice transcription. Voice conversion is charged separately from generating questions or reviewing answers. Failed calls and reused results do not consume credits. Free credit never expires; included paid credits expire with their pass; top-up credits expire after 12 calendar months and require an active paid pass to spend.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay in INR. Prices and periods are shown at checkout; the price shown at purchase applies to that purchase.
• Purchases are final, subject to applicable law. If a fault on our side kept you from using what you paid for, the remedy is extra days or extra credit on the same plan. Duplicate or incorrect charges, and other cases where money must go back, are handled through a reviewed refund request from Billing. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• Choose a one-time pass or automatic renewal for 7-day and 30-day periods. Three-day passes are one-time only. Recurring charges continue for the authorized cycle count unless cancelled in Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals and preserves the current paid period.
• Paid plans have generous hourly fair-use limits. Free feature allowances remain unchanged. Your plan, eligible models, credit usage and balance are shown in Billing.

9) Availability

Service is provided "as is" with no uptime or service-level commitments.

10) Suspension, reactivation, deletion

You can delete your account and its service data from Account after entering a one-time code sent to your registered email, including for Google and LinkedIn accounts. All remaining credits are forfeited. Recreating an account with the same email does not restore credits or grant new free credits. The Privacy Policy describes the limited records retained after deletion.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, legal requests or security risks. Signing in does not reactivate a suspended account. Suspended accounts retain data until deletion is completed; automatic deletion after a fixed period is not currently provided. Contact sujatakumari@prepico.ai to request review or deletion.

11) Third-party services

Prepico depends on providers for sign-in (Google, LinkedIn), payments (Razorpay), AI processing (OpenAI, Anthropic), email delivery, hosting (AWS and Vercel) and optional analytics (PostHog). Issues in these services may affect availability.

12) Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold DataShastri harmless from claims arising from your content, your use in violation of these Terms, or applicable law.

13) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataShastri is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is capped at the greater of INR 1,000 or the fees you paid (if any) in the prior 12 months.

14) Warranty disclaimer

Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be presented in-app with an effective date and require your explicit acceptance before you continue using the workspace.
